In my childhood I had a dream. I wanted to have a dog. Not a simply dog, but a proud, magnificent, strong, hardy and incredibly clever dog. A dog which would live for people, beg them faith and truth. A kind and brave dog.     My familiar sailor told me that there were such dogs in America. He showed me photos, which were compared with his incredible stories. And in the end of each his story he added with a pity, that there weren't such pretty dogs in Russia (at that time it was USSR).

After almost 20 years I found out, that there already were such dogs in Russia. very few but there were! Of course of course I did everything I could to get one of the dogs!
 

On the 1st of June 2003 a puppy appeared in our home. Alaskan Malamute! Akbar, for us he is Barik, Barry or just pet-name- Kukusik. He was charming like all puppies. He was mischievous and acted like a hooligan. He turned all the things in our house upside-down. He was a space ball of energy. He brought our family so much joy. With his appearance our  life changed completely. Life become more colorful, there was more rhythm to it, more life !
 

Now Akbar has grown up. He is almost a big dog. He is incredibly beautiful, courageous and  touching. Just the one I used to dream about in my childhood.  He is the best dog in the world!  And this web-site is dedicated to him.  You can easily trace his life (growing up) by the photos here.  There are photos from the first day when he appeared in our home.
